Marrakech, Morocco's most exciting city, this is were we start a very special mountain bike trip.

If you love mountain biking than you will really love this one. From the magic city of Marrakech you can allready see the high summits of the High Atlas Mountains.  On bike we stay a little lower but nevertheless nature is impressive and culture so different. This is a real unique experience. It is just like “Little Nepal”.

 

Maroc Travel is organizing a complete one week trip with a 6 days fully serviced mountain bike trekking and 2 nights in Marrakech. You just buy your flight ticket to the airport of Marrakech and from there on everything is organized for you. An experienced European tourleader is biking with you! 8 days complete for € 575,- 

Maroc Travel takes you to the High Atlas mountains for this very special trip: you need some experience and a good condition! This is level 2. You pass by green Berber valleys and colorful rough mountains. Technical and physical this is what we call challenging.

 

 

 

The distance you bike each day is not too far but the trails and tracks are rough and sometimes quite steep. There is a car for following; transporting our our luggage and the food. All meals during the biking are included with nice picnics 'on the road'.

Overnight stays in simple Berber guesthouses, you bring your own sleeping bag. In Marrakech you stay in a nice, comfortable Riad hotel, near the famous square Jemaa el Fna.

On day 2 the biking get's started.

If you like to stay more nights in Marrakech: € 50,- for a double room per night, € 40 for a single room.

Only the intercontinental flight to Marrakech and your bike are not included. The flight you can easily book yourself. Try cheap flight companies like Easyjet, Ryanair, ..
With most air companies you can 'ship' your bike as a special attribute or sports article. Most companies charge about € 50 for a one way trip for your bike.

 

Locally there are some bikes to hire. For one week tis will cost you about  € 150. Do not be surprised if you do not get the quality you are used to. 

We definitely advise to bring your own bike !!
