Get a kick out of climbing the highest peak of Morocco and of the North of Africa ! On the top of Morocco's highest summit Mount Toubkal your are at 4.167m. / 13.671 ft above sea level.
With our 6 day Toubkal trek + 2 nights in Marrakech you can go for Morocco climbing Toubkal in one week!
The walk to the summit is challenging but you do not need specific moutaineering experience. The panoramic views on top make the hard work worthwhile. In summer it is a so called "walking mountain". Everyone with a good conditon who likes walking can make it. Just do it slowly, step by step. Just being in a good condition, bringing your walking boots and a good spirit and you can reach this summit as well.
Especially with our special 6 day trek which is good for acllimatization to altitude and ... this trek takes you through different beautiful Berber valleys. In winter be prepared for snow high in the mountains. For nice pictures: Morocco Toubkal in June & Morocco Toubkal in November
Toubkal trek 6 days
Maroc TRavels offers a special 6 day Toubkal trekking. If you add two nights in Marrakech you have a perfect one week holiday!
The trekking starts each Monday. Sunday is for your arrival and departure in Marrakech. Here you can sleep in a nice, small Raid hotel in the medina; the old city center near Jemaa el Fna. Join us for this one week Morocco adventure through green Berber valleys upto the highest mountain in Morocco Jeble Toubkal 4.167m. and reach your personal summit!
- 6 days full serviced trekking € 395
- 8 day trip with 6 dyas Toubkal trek + 2 nights hotel in Marrakech + 2x airport transfer =  € 465,- p/p
More nights in Marrakech:
- double room € 50,-
- single room € 40,- per night).
Morocco Jebel Toubkal is a walking mountain and .. over 4.000 meters / 13.123 feet high. For ''low-land" people such a summit of 4.167m./ 13.671 ft. is quite high and you might feel the altitude the day you are really going up. For a good adaptation to this high altitude - the last night before you 'summit' you sleep at 3.200m. / 10.499ft. - we advise every-one to go for the trip with (minimum) 6 days of walking. During this 6 day trek you get a good acclimatization: only the first day is mainly descending and you start up at 2.600m. in Oukaïmeden. Then each day you start to 'conquer' one of the high passes in the Atlas mountains which take you to nice views and another colourful, hidden Berber valley. Good acclimatization certainly makes it easier to reach your goal. And ... a trekking through the colourful Berber valleys on it's own is already very worthwile. A trekking to Morocco Mount Toubkal is more than just a mountain; take the time to enjoy the beautiful Atlas mountains and the welcoming Berber people!
You can make this trip as a private group as well; dpearture any date you like. And we can make you a taylor made program as well.
Just contact us for more information or to make your reservation [email protected]or have a look at www.discover-maroc-travel.com
